Terrorism
This term refers to various forms of violence inspired by political, religious, or ideological causes and purposes. Their main objective is to disrupt public security, kill civilians, and spread fears and a sense of constant threat. Although defining terrorism has proven to be a highly contentious issue, there is some agreement among academics and security experts that the term “terrorism” refers to acts of violence committed with the intention to convey specific political or ideological messages. Terrorism-related activities such as establishing support networks, fundraising, recruitment, and developing tactics and strategies make terrorism one of the complex forms of political violence.
