Turcsányi analyze the characteristics and convergence between Russian and Chinese influence operations in their newest article for NATO StratCom.
Both countries share long-term discontent about the international system. Moreover, China has recently adopted some of the Russian information influence tactics. However, despite these similarities, there are still significant differences such as a distinct approach to the international image. Therefore, NATO should bear these differences in mind and avoid oversimplifying its response.
