We regret to inform you that today’s discussion is cancelled due to unexpected reasons.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused and we hope to see you on other occasion.
What are the trajectories of the ongoing change in the cities as complex and incomplete systems, and what are the broader political effects of this change in terms of organisation of social life, political representation or war? Join us for a lecture and a conversation on these and related issues with Saskia Sassen, Robert S. Lynd Professor of Sociology at Columbia University and one of the foremost contemporary social scholars and public intellectuals exploring globalisation and (global) cities.
The discussion will be moderated by Ondřej Ditrych (Director, Institute of International Relations Prague).
We are looking forward to meeting with you!
