The unifying theme of the book is the EU´s actorness in international affairs. In this new publication edited by Petr Kratochvíl four individual dimensions of its actorness are explored - the EU´s legitimacy, its external recognition, its attractiveness, and its power to frame policy. These four dimensions are explored both theoretically and in the context of several empirical case studies.
