Energy industry
Energy is an essential sector of the economy and is an important prerequisite for the development and stability of society. In general, the energy sector is about obtaining, converting and distributing various forms of energy. There is currently a movement from fossil fuel-based energy to carbon-free energy. Given the importance of energy for individual actors (mainly particular states), energy security is being discussed; efforts are also being made to obtain a sufficient amount of energy at an affordable price. On the international level, many countries depend on energy imports, and this has significant economic and political implications.
