Economy
Economy is an international area of production, distribution and trade, as well as consumption of goods and services by various actors of the global political economy. The most essential collective actors are firms, states and labour, which together form a triangle. The world economy can then be defined as a global social domain that emphasizes the practices, discourses, and material processes associated with the asymmetric relations of production and exchange among such actors. Here in the IIR, we analyse these investment, trade, and developmental relations in a global perspective.
