(ONLINE) HRJust Intersect Observatory: Launch
Join us for an online roundtable discussion on the role of research centres, laboratories, observatories, and think tanks in civil society, co-organised by the Institute of International Relations in Prague, the World Trade Institute of the University of Bern, and the University of Helsinki.
20. 5. 2024 (10:00)
The Intersect Observatory is set up as part of the HRJust project to promote a debate and dialogue on the states’ use of human rights justifications, approaching this with a lens of intersectionality. The Observatory monitors the human rights justification through the findings and materials produced by the HRJust project and aims to raise knowledge and promote a healthy debate and dialogue in this area through its digital library, work-in-progress seminars, web interviews and video blogs on emerging issues, inclusive democracy and gender.
The webinar of 20 May 2024 marks the launch of the Intersect Observatory website, which will be presented during the event.
In addition, speakers from academia, international organizations, and civil society have been invited to present a range of initiatives and resonate on the contribution of research centres, laboratories, observatories and think tanks to civil society.
Be a part of this important conversation shaping inclusive democracy and gender equality!
Reserve your spot by registering below, you will be sent a Microsoft Teams link to join before the event.
