Jiří Dienstbier – Dreaming about Politics

The Institute of International Relations, the Czech Council on Foreign Relations, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, and Český rozhlas organized a conference: Jiří Dienstbier – Dreaming about Politics which took place on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at the Czernin Palace, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic (Loretánské náměstí 5, 118 00, Praha 1).

The conference begun at 2:00 PM with an introductory speech by Minister Karel Schwarzenberg.

Afterwards, the panelists discussed Jiří Dienstbier's work in domestic and foreign policy.

The conference included presentations by Petr Drulák, Marek Hrubec, Jiřina Dienstbierová, Petr Pithart, Jiří Pehe, Petr Havlík, Jacques Rupnik, Otto Pick and Jan Pelikán.

At the end of the conference, the director of the public radio station Český rozhlas Peter Duhan christened the book Jiří Dienstbier – rozhlasový zpravodaj together with the panelists.
