Slovakia
Slovakia is a Central European country with five and a half million inhabitants which borders Ukraine, Poland, the Czech Republic, Austria, and Hungary. The country is geographically and culturally diverse, with lowlands in the south and mountains in the north. It is one of the fast growing economies with a very high index of human development. It is a member of the European Union and the North Atlantic Alliance, and cooperates with the other Visegrad countries.
