European Missile Defence: A Russian Self-fulfilling Prophecy
Since the Russian annexation of Crimea, the ever-growing Russian missile threat has amplified the security dilemma in Europe.
With Germany expressing its interest in buying the Arrow 3 Israeli-US defence-missile system and Britain’s decision to increase its nuclear stockpile to counteract the Russian Kinzhal hypersonic missile system, one has to appreciate the irony of Putin’s self-fulfilling prophecy coming to pass.
